 The The resort office is
housed in the new Brookhaven Lodge, which is also
our home. When you arrive and come here to
check-in, be sure and check out our selection of
over 400 classic videos; video players are also
available. Coffee, tea and hot
chocolate are available all the time in the
office, and a selection of guidebooks, souvenirs
and snacks may be purchased here by resort
guests.

If you are interested in exploring the area
around the resort, view our new Activities Map on
the west lobby wall. Color-coded location and
trail-head markers, plus a growing collection of
written trail descriptions, will help you plan
your vacation using Skagit River Resort as your
base-camp. Here's a table-format
listing of the places to visit, walks and
hikes you'll find on our wall map.

Our
Laundromat is open 24 hours a day, and while the
resort uses it from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, it is
open to our guests and customers after 3:00pm and
all night. We presently have two coin-operated
washers, three coin-op dryers, a folding table
and a laundry needs vending machine.
|
Restrooms
We have nice clean public restrooms, with one
toilet stall, lavatory and shower on the women's
side and the same in the men. The coin-operated
showers take one quarter for a quick shower but
for two quarters a nice hot leisurely shower.

| Wildwood Chapel
Located across the highway on our river front
property, this small chapel is open for quiet
contemplation all the time. The facility can be
reserved for small weddings (inside seating
capacity is only nine), although we've had larger
ceremonies with guests seated outside on warm
summer days. Catering and reception services are
available at The Eatery.
Please
stop by the chapel to sign the visitor's book.
For a number
of years there existed a small roadside chapel in
a large field East of Monroe. Many
passer-bys stopped to meditate there on
their way across Stephens Pass. In the spring of
1975 the chapel was destroyed by vandals. So
thorough was the destruction that the Monroe
Church opted to replace the structure with
insurance proceeds, rather than attempt to repair
the badly damaged building.
The Rudy Clark family were
aware of the destroyed chapel, and with the help
of Jim Clark Jr., brought the remaining parts of
the chapel here to Bullerville. After a year of
reconstruction (and loving wood matching by
Tootsie Clark) the chapel was re-named the
Wildwood Chapel at Bullerville, and placed at its
present location.
See our Groups page for information
on using this facility for a memorable country wedding.

| Brookhaven Great Room
This is
another facility available for weddings. It is
also a great place for more intimate gatherings,
cocktail parties and receptions. Furnished with
comfortable seating, the room is dominated by the
huge Skagit jade fireplace at the north end of
the room. Sliding glass doors give access to the
"patio" area, where the Brookhaven
Picnic Shelter is located.

|
 Skagit Multipurpose Room
Available for meetings and and more intensive events, our
downstairs Skagit Room at Brookhaven is suitable for
groups up to 30 in size.
Equipped with TV and VCR and other meeting essentials, this
is a perfect conference venue. Refreshment breaks can be
catered by The Eatery. For smaller groups, a conversation
area in front of the woodstove can be used.
|
 Sports
& Picnic Facilities
We have volley ball and badminton areas and
horseshoe pits. But the most fun is Bunnyhole
Golf. Yes, the bunnies dig the holes and we put
the cups and flags in. Dont laugh. They
work real hard all spring on this project, so
hard that they get behind in their lawn mowing
and we have to step in with help.
There are picnic tables in the Lawn Court, and
at the Eatery outside dining area. Charcoal
barbecue grills are available for rent. For
evenings and when its more pleasant to stay
inside, table games and various other indoor
games are also available.
The Brookhaven Picnic Shelter is set up for
barbecueing and also has an old-fashioned wood
cookstove which can be fired up to keep pots of
food warm for serving.
|
Video Rentals
At this time we have about 400 videos
for rent and some video cassette players. There
arent many of these so at the time of your
reservation just ask to reserve one. We are also accumulating
some DVDs and have a few players available in that format.
We will be most happy to help you with your selection.
