Your privacy is very important to us. Skagit River Resort LLC respects your concerns about maintaining strict privacy. Any information that you divulge to us is kept in confidence.

This web site contains links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other entities, and we encourage our visitors to be aware when they leave our site that the below statements apply only to the site at www.northcascades.com.

For each visitor to our Web page, the server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We do not enable "cookies" on our web site. The server for our web site may collect information about the date and time in which our web site was accessed, and the internet address of the web site from which you linked to our site. We may have the ability to access this information, but have chosen not to avail ourselves of this data for the time being. If we decide to use this information to analyze web traffic in the future, or for the purpose of improving our web site, we will only be able to measure the number of visitors to our site and the addresses of the web sites from which our visitors come. E-mail addresses and other personally identifiable information are not available to us.

We may also collect aggregate information on what pages visitors browse or access, but do not make any association of this survey data with individual personal information.

We do not collect personally identifiable information on our web site or otherwise unless you choose to give it to us via an entry on our web site Guestbook pages, an electronic mail message, a phone call, by postal mail, or in person. Even when you choose to give us information, we keep it confidential. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose mailing lists or other personally identifiable information.

We have protected the area of our web site where visitors may input personal information (the "Guestbook" pages) with SSL encryption. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of your web browser. If you provide us with sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on a secure page, it will be transmitted to our server as an encrypted transaction. Off-line, we will take no action to reveal this sensitive information except to personnel who require this data for billing purposes, at the time your reservation is processed and accounting functions are completed.

We maintain records of individuals who have made lodging reservations at the Resort, or who have contacted us, as above, in case we need to contact you later or provide information to you in the future. However, we do not make these records available to anyone else unless you give us your permission.

We may use our accumulated contact information to send you periodic newsletters and communications by electronic mail. If you do not want to receive such "e-news" from us in the future, please let us know you wish to opt out by sending an email to us (Click here:  ). In this email you must reveal your login name (email address) and the password you created when you registered to access our Guestbook – with this corroborating input from you, we will delete you from our records.

If you supply us with your postal address you may receive periodic mailings from us with seasonal greetings or information on our facilities and services. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by communicating your wishes to us via email, telephone or postal mail.
