Accommodations at Brookhaven include a full Country Breakfast, served at The Eatery Restaurant. On those warm vacation days, enjoy the chaise lounges on the patio. Smoking is still permitted, outside only. Or relax in the beautiful Great Room with a wall of Skagit River jade. Decor is in true Pacific Northwest style, with mounted skins and animals from the North Cascade mountain range adorning this room. There’s a story behind each one.

If your idea of a great vacation is curling up with some good literature, Brookhaven includes a small library with a nice selection of books and magazines. You’ll enjoy reading from grandfather’s set (26 in all) of Mark Twain’s autobiography, copyrighted in 1912. A very cherished original edition of "The Roadhouse Tales", which great grandmother wrote in Nome, while panning for gold during the Alaska gold rush, is also in our collection.

Sorry, but we can not accommodate children at Brookhaven, because of the upper catwalk. No smoking inside. And no pets, please. Pet lovers will enjoy meeting our resident kitty, Tosha LeAnn Marie Brooks (Toshi) for short. With a name like that, do you wonder why no other pets are allowed? She is Manx and Burmese (stubbed tail) and a darling attitude, but a mind of her own, and she does rule and run the Brookhaven household.

Brookhaven #1 is a lovely upstairs room with two queen-sized beds, a wicker-furnished sitting area and its own cable TV. The window overlooks our resort and there is a low ceiling. Sleeps four guests.

Brookhaven #2 is a spacious room located near the head of the stairs. Queen bed, oufitted with a hand-made quilt Judi won at the Marblemount Holiday Festival raffle. Grandmother’s antique shipping chest sits in the corner. There is a beautiful country wreath and an old oil lamp on the wall, and some more antique lamps on the dresser. Openable roof window. Cable TV. Sleeps two.

Brookhaven #3 has an antique cast iron framed double bed, covered with a beautiful bed-of-roses spread. Decor includes a chamber pot, antique dresser and water pitcher. A wonderful wreath of sea shells decorates one wall. There is a sky light. Sleeps two.

Brookhaven #4 is a delightful bedroom with a double bed and an unusual ceiling design. The room has a skylight and another window that opens to the wooded side of our home. The furniture is Early American. Sleeps two.
