Its objective is to promote the civic,

- Founded in 1986, North Cascades Institute is
a Northwest leader in field-based environmental education.
Focusing on natural and cultural history, its mission is to conserve
and restore Northwest environments through education.
- Pacific Northwest
Trail Association - The mission of the PNTA is to establish,
protect, construct and maintain the Pacific Northwest Trail as a
public, non-motorized travelway from the Rocky Mountains in Glacier
National Park to the Pacific Coast of the Olympic Peninsula and to
work for the protection, preservation, and responsible management of
the natural, scenic, historic and culturally significant resources
that are an integral part of the Pacific Northwest Trail experience

WSHLA
is a non-profit trade and professional association dedicated to the
interests of the lodging industry in Washington State.
- Washington Trails Association - Started as Signpost
Magazine, the WTA is a
volunteer-driven, non-profit organization working
since 1966 to preserve, enhance and promote
hiking opportunities in Washington state through
collaboration, education, advocacy and trail
