Josée once again captivated her audience with a wonderful performance.  This time she was even better than the first time.  She seemed more relaxed and comfortable in the house concert venue and the songs she chose to sing really accentuated her beautiful voice.  Josée introduced a ukulele to her repertoire and she is working on more songs using this really bouncy magical instrument. We had a nice crowd and I do believe everyone had a wonderful evening.

  House Concert:  Josée

Back for a second appearance, we're happy to have this talented performer with us again.  Conceived in the beautiful Northwest, Josée Allard's music comes straight from the heart and takes you into the extraordinary lives of ordinary people that have inspired her along the way. A French Canadian, from Powell River B.C., Josée ("Jo-Zay") sings and writes in both official languages of Canada. Her unique style is described as folk-pop/alternative fused with dance and ethnic beats. Top that off with a sexy, sultry and unforgettable voice, Josée has a remarkable talent. Everyone deserves to be happy, and that message is conveyed through Josée's catchy, melodic and even breathtaking, songs. If you're not already listening to her music, you would notice how mature and powerful her voice is. Yet it softly blends in perfect harmony with her guitar.

Josée has gained a lot of exposure playing open stage nights and festivals from Victoria to Seattle, she now is based in Anacortes, WA.  Composing and writing a song is one of Josée's favorite pastimes, second to performing! And why would you want to go see Josée live? Well, maybe you heard from someone that she was really good, and you have to find out for yourself...  Or, you're in the mood for something entertaining and want to be swept away. Some say it's like drinking from the fountain of youth because she has so much energy on stage. Others say her songs are mesmerizing, they get lost in the moment.
