Amy Hindman performed at the Brookhaven Lodge this July 9th and what a great lady she is.  Her performance was outstanding.  Her voice was angelic and her comedy was heady, we laughed and laughed with her.  I do want her to come back again, like maybe for a December concert. 

Amy and her friends Kaylan & Wendy (shown in picture) thoroughly enjoyed our resort as they cruised around our trails and ate at our Eatery restaurant entertaining everyone with their sense of humor, and laughter.  They said "We really want to come back again, its so much fun here". Well, Amy, you have my vote.  Until we see you again, we really enjoyed your visit, and you won't soon be forgotten, but missed very much.

  House Concert:  Amy Hindman

Amy Hindman of Fir Island east of La Conner says "My music ranges in content from songs about the beauty of the planet to the love of family and friends and our journey together on this earth."

Amy says she's been influenced by songwriter-performers James Taylor and Joni Mitchell, and her own songs that appear on her CD's Beneath the Surface and the recent Beyond the Edge are truly music from her heart.  She performs regularly in local venues & festivals and her own songs are always well-received.  When asked, she reveals her repertoire to also include lots of old standards.  She does a fine job of getting audiences of all ages to sing along with her, and this ability has her much in demand with churches, schools and retirement communities.
