Marcia's concert was wonderful, and she played to a group that liked her own creations along with some oldies but goodies. Her lyrics are very true to life and compelling.  The rhythm and subject is much of life as we know it.  She had a very unusual way of strumming and picking her guitar.  She also unveiled her new guitar which was very beautiful with inlaid dolphins on the front, all hand made.  All in all the crowd were very pleased with her performance, and most indicated they would be back.

  House Concert:  Marcia Guderian

Marcia is a charming vocalist with a voice and a smile that are both unique and compelling. With her melodic finger picked acoustic guitar style and warm stage presence, she's an engaging performer whose joy in music communicates well to her audiences. A professional, musically trained from childhood on, with a wealth of background and experience to draw upon, she's a popular performer at concerts, festivals, parties, weddings, clubs and coffee houses. She has performed up and down the West Coast, as a solo entertainer, in acoustic duo, with singing groups and in various bands.   She lives in Bellingham, WA. where she is generally considered to be a major influence on the local acoustic music scene and was the first singer-songwriter to win the Bellingham Mayors Arts Award for her many contributions to community music.
