House Concert:
Marcia Guderian
Marcia
is a charming vocalist with a voice and a smile that are
both unique and compelling. With her melodic finger picked acoustic
guitar style and warm stage presence, she's an engaging performer whose
joy in music communicates well to her audiences. Also, she's got a huge
song list which includes both well-crafted originals and a wide variety
of covers, standards, acoustic blues, swing, folk, pop, and light jazz.
A professional, musically trained from childhood on, with a wealth of background and experience to draw upon, she's a popular performer at concerts, festivals, parties, weddings, clubs and coffee houses. She has performed up and down the West Coast, as a solo entertainer, in acoustic duo, with singing groups and in various bands. She lives in Bellingham, WA. where she is generally considered to be a major influence on the local acoustic music scene and was the first singer-songwriter to win the Bellingham Mayors Arts Award for her many contributions to community music.
7:30pm at Brookhaven Lodge.
